What is Decodex?
DECODEX is a comprehensive research and development project titled “Development of innovative materials for personalized cell therapies and regenerative medicine.”
Led by SC Decode Health SRL, the project aims to revolutionize cancer treatment and regenerative medicine through interdisciplinary collaboration between biomaterial researchers, immunologists, and clinicians.

Objectives
General Objective: To promote the development of biomaterials that optimize the function of immune cells used in cancer treatment, anti-aging processes, and regenerative medicine.
Specific Objectives:
Integration of advanced genetic modification techniques for T-lymphocytes to develop personalized CAR-T therapies. This allows treatments to be adapted to the unique genetic characteristics of each oncological case.
Establishment of an immune cell bank, providing patients access to personalized autologous cell therapies.
Key Expected Results
The DECODEX project anticipates the following outcomes:
Regulatory & Software: Development of standard operating procedures, obtaining compliance certificates for biomaterials (CE marking), and creating integrated data management software.
Research & Development: Acquisition of equipment and consumables for industrial research/experimental development, creation of standardized protocols, and publication of scientific articles.
Infrastructure: Equipping a facility (hall) with machinery, equipment, and humanoid robots.
Authorization: Obtaining GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) authorization for immune cell production and authorization for the cell bank.
Service Launch: Developing a service for the harvesting, isolation, and long-term storage of immune cells from adults aged 18 to 65.
Why now?
The Reality of Aging: Aging is genetically determined but profoundly shaped by your immune system. While we cannot yet "conserve" young organs, we can now conserve young immune cells.
The Problem: Traditional cell collection (Apheresis) is stressful, takes 6–8 hours, costs over €16,000, and is often done too late—after conventional therapies fail.
